10 Minute Calzone
2 servings


1/2lb Mix (2 patties)
1 small pizza dough from your favorite pizza place
1 cup vegan shredded mozzarella cheese
1 medium sliced tomato
Optional: 1 whole egg
Dash of sea salt.


Set oven to 475.

Roll dough 10 inches in diameter

Place Mix across the center in a straight row (picturing the dough as a circle, the Mix will be a minus sign from left to right across your dough)

Throw cheese on top, covering Mix.

Place your sliced tomato on top of the cheese.

Optional: Make a dent in center of the mix/cheese/tomato pile - the bullseye of your dough circle - and crack an egg in the center.  (also optional is to add a little pepperoni from your fav pizza place.. Do you.)

Fold one side of the dough over your fillings; fold the other side on top of all that goodness.

Sprinkle cornmeal on a grill pan, cast iron pan, pizza stone or aluminum foil and place calzone on top.

Remove after 5-6 minutes, or until golden brown on top.
